Celebrate Halloween weekend on the Emerald Coast! Destin has a BIG Halloween weekend lined up for you! Join in on all the Halloween fun at Pumpkinpalooza at HarborWalk Village, starting Friday, October 26, 2012. This weekend-long event includes a “Rocky Horror Picture Show” on the HarborWalk Village stage, huge Halloween parade, contests, costumes, pumpkin decorating and trick-or-treating! Make sure to bring your Halloween costume for your vacation at the Resorts of Pelican Beach, Pumpkinpalooza will surely be a blast for the whole family.
Mark your calendar for the 17th Annual Destin Festival of the Arts this Saturday, October 27, 2012 at Henderson Beach State Park. The Festival of the Arts will feature 100 fine artists exhibiting in 18 mediums as well as kids’ activities, live music and a bistro food court! Admission for adults is only $3 and kids under 12 get in free!

Fun on the Emerald Coast: October 19-21
There is always something to do on the Emerald Coast! Destin is the perfect destination for your upcoming vacation. This weekend, join us for all the fun! As Halloween approaches, Destin finds the best ways to show our Halloween spirit. Bring your family to the Monster Paddle event sponsored by Harry T’s on Saturday, October 20, 2012. The whole family will love watching this costumed YOLO board race!
Saturday morning, take your kids fishing during your stay at the Resorts of Pelican Beach. A short drive from the resort, the 20th Rootin Tootin Rodeo Round Up is a wonderful opportunity to take your kids fishing! Bring your kids (12 and under) to the Okaloosa Island Pier for a morning of fishing on the pier. The round-up begins at 9:00 am and ended with a lunch on the dock at noon. For $10 per child – includes pier fee for the angler and his/her parents, a tee-shirt, bait, a rod and reel to keep, and lunch – this is a fabulous opportunity for your kids to have a blast on the Emerald Coast!
